Pacific Coast Farms is located in the Eola-Amity Hills of the beautiful Willamette Valley of Western Oregon. The farm is situated on just over 20 acres of land in the heart of Oregon wine country. The property was purchased in 2009, and a rabbit barn was built shortly after, so we could get back to commercially raising rabbits, which had originally begun in 2006 in a rented barn. The barn is climate controlled, to keep the rabbits comfortable, healthy and stress free. The rabbits are fed a custom, locally milled, corn-free feed. No animal by-products, steroids, hormones, or antibiotics are in the feed. An automatic watering system provides the rabbits with a continuous supply of fresh water. The rabbits are hand fed and looked after daily.
The poultry and rabbit processing facility was built on the property soon after the rabbit barn. The processing facility is inspected and licensed by the Oregon Department of Agriculture.
